Guitar
has inspired composers all over the world.
The
Aranjuez Concierto, by Joaquim Rodrigo, is
of
course the most popular work, even if stage performance needs a
delicate balance between the solo guitar and the full symphonic
orchestra. JP Jumez has been invited by major orchestras to perform
this celebrated masterpiece.

Institutions
such as the Louisville Symphony Orchestra (dir. Jorge
Mester), the Seoul Symphonic Orchestra (dir. Myung-Whun Chung) or the
Durban Symphony Orchestra have invited JP Jumez to perform the
Villa-Lobos Concerto, a spectacular virtuosity challenge for the
soloist.
Jacques
Castérède's Concerto
for Guitar and Symphony Orchestra was created by Jean-Pierre Jumez in
France. Click here

amateur recording of the performance.
Boccherini's
quintets,
recorded by Jean-Pierre Jumez and the Bulgarian Quartet, remain a
classic reference in the chamber music world..
